Meet dr. Dubravica

Dr. med. dent. Ivica Dubravica, M.Sc. is a specialist in implantology and one of the leading dental implantologist in the region, with the highest degree of education: Expert für Implantologie (at DGZI - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahnärztliche Implantologie) and Master of Oral Medicine in Implantology.

Dr. med. dent. Ivica Dubravica, M.Sc. was born in Šibenik where he finished his elementary school and high school education. Afterwards, he moved to Zagreb where he enrolled at Faculty of Stomatology.

During his studying period he achieved very high grade point average (4,98 out of 5) and as a result of hard work and dedication he received many awards and prizes which showed as really important in building his career in dentistry. At an very early age, dr. Dubravica had a chance to gain valuable professional experience. Special interest of dr. Dubravica is the area of Implantology that he leared about directly from dr. Bert Egar in his private stomatologic clinic in Berlin, Germany.

2010, Master of Implantology, Medical Faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Munster, Deutschland.

2010, "Expert for Implantologie", specialty exam at DGZI" (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zahnärztliche Implantologie).

2007, member of mentors IMPLA, he actively participates in the organization and realisation of individual and group seminars in the field of implantology.

2006, member of German Association of Dental Implantology DGZI - he actively participates in implantology, prosthetics and oral surgery seminars held all across the world.

2003, he opens his private dental practice with two offices. Afterwards, the offices were expanded into - DENTAL CENTAR DUBRAVICA - dental clinic with dental laboratory.

2003, enrolled in postgraduate study program at Faculty of Stomatology in Zagreb, working on his doctoral dissertation.

2002, worked in private dental practices in Zagreb and Vodice.

2001, completed his first obligatory internship, and passed the state exam.

2000, completed undergraduate study at Faculty of Stomatology in Zagreb.

1999./2000, Dean's award - award for the best academic success.

2000, Rector's award for the student research project "Production process and effect of individual interdental mouthguards for athletes, Medix, 2000, 32;91-94.

1999./2000, Signal student award – Unilever company award for the best student among all dentistry universities in the Republic of Croatia.

1998./1999, Award from the Society of citizens and friends of Sibenik in Zagreb- the award for best student success at University of Zagreb in the academic year 1998/1999.
